Mario Kart bonus disc explained

Nintendo also confirms third multiplayer mode for Cube karter.

Those pre-ordering Mario Kart: Double Dash in the US can expect another "bonus disc" containing demos and preview content related to forthcoming Nintendo titles in exchange for their deposit, according to reports.

Although the disc will not play host to Mario Kart 64, as has been breathlessly hypothesized elsewhere, it should still prove an incentive for Cube owners in the run up to the game's mid-November release, and is available now.

Meanwhile, Nintendo has admitted that the ECTS version of Mario Kart was "almost finished in terms of polished gameplay," but without "a lot" of expected features - one of which is a third, co-operative battle mode in which one player drives and the other handles the weapons.
