Kuju seeks Hip replacement

For City of the Dead.

British developer Kuju Entertainment has announced that it is working with Ernst and Young, the receivers appointed to oversee the liquidation of bankrupt publisher Hip Interactive, to find a new publisher for forthcoming title City of the Dead.

The game, which has been developed in collaboration with famed zombie movie director George A Romero, is being developed for Xbox, PS2 and PC and features online play and full Havok physics.

"There have already been several interested parties in the game, the team and the technology," according to Kuju managing director Jonathan Newth, "and we are hopeful that some elements of the project will continue beyond the unfortunate demise of Hip Interactive Inc."
