Pariah add-on, not sequel?

Digital Extremes speaks to EG.

Following reports that Digital Extremes is already hard at work on a sequel to PC and Xbox first-person shooter Pariah, a representative has hinted it might be a little too soon for all that.

Speaking to Eurogamer, the representative said: "We have definitely started plans for something Pariah - but not necessarily Pariah 2 per se."

So could that mean an expansion pack instead? Perhaps Digital Extremes will follow Bungie's lead and release a load of new maps?

DE is refusing to reveal any more info for the time being, unfortunately, and publisher Hip Interactive had nothing to add but "no comment".

Guess we'll just have to wait and see... And besides, there's always the first Pariah game to be getting on with, especially since it only came out last week.
