Symphony of the Night on XBLA

Konami is bringing Castlevania: Symphony of the Night to Xbox Live Arcade.

1UP claims the Live Arcade release will be the PlayStation One version, and that it will hit the service in Q1 2007, although other reports claim that an exact date is TBC.

Konami is expected to reveal more details on the port later in August.

Symphony of the Night is one of the most fondly remembered games in Konami's excellent platform series, and its presence on Live will certainly put the likes of Frogger and Galaga into perspective.
