Eidos cheapens death

TimeSplitters 2 and Hitman 2 will soon be budget titles.

"Eidos Re-releases Hit Games," yells the press release (in capital letters). We misread it at first, had a chuckle, then realised they're right - it is good news that Hitman 2 and TimeSplitters 2 are joining budget labels.

From October 10th, both games will be available for around 20 notes on the Xbox Classics label, and Hitman 2 will also appear as part of the expansive PS2 Platinum range. With a bit of shopping around, you could end up paying as little as fifteen quid for them - and they're top drawer titles, both of 'em.

So if you're feeling a bit distraught about having to spend tons of money to keep up with new releases, or these two slipped through the dragnet the first time around, then why not treat yourself come next Friday? Shooting people can be so therapeutic.
