New Trophy features for PlayStation.com

Compare with friends and enemies.

Sony plans to update the PlayStation website soon so that you can compare Trophy information with several friends at once and include more of it in your portable ID.

According to a video blog update, the PlayStation.com upgrades will allow you to pit your - for want of a better word - achievements against up to five friends at once, or even people who aren't your friends.

You will be able to see how many Trophies each of you has per game, or dive a bit deeper and examine which specific Trophies you each have respectively, and when they were unlocked.

The other aspect of the update affects the PSN portable ID - the embeddable PSN card you can use to clutter up pages on social networking sites and forums. This will soon include Trophy data as well.

The updates should roll out "this week" according to the US PlayStation blog.
