MS trails announcement at Comic-Con

Microsoft has reportedly said it will unveil a "new, exciting unannounced project from one of our top franchises" at the San Diego Comic-Con next week.

The platform holder has a modest (by its standards) presence at the show, which runs from 23rd to 26th July, and this includes a media reception on the first evening.

Kotaku reports that the invitation that brought the unannounced project to half-light also said attendees would be "among the first" to see it, and the site speculates that it may therefore be announced to the wider world beforehand.

Perhaps they're making another Halo game in 2012. Halo: Reaching, anyone?
