MS testing new 360 wireless dongle

Double antennae for 1080p streams.

Microsoft has submitted a double-antennae, 802.11n wireless Xbox 360 network adapter to the FCC for testing.

The two antennae allow a stronger signal to be picked up, which makes streaming 1080p video a reality rather than a wired-connection perk.

Gizmodo (via VG247) spotted the filing, but found no mention of date nor price. Presumably the peripheral will coincide with the release of the Xbox Live Zune video service this autumn.

Presumably the peripheral will also cost an arm and a leg, judging by the hefty £49.99 price tag of the existing Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter.
