MoH Airborne given firm date

PS3, 360 and PC in August.

Medal of Honor Airborne will "land" on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on 31st August, EA confirmed this afternoon.

That's just three days after the US "drop" on 28th August, which EA also confirmed this week.

As you may remember, Airborne "parachutes" "parachutes" into the proceedings, allowing you to effectively pick your starting point on its handsomely decorated World War II maps by directing your descent from a plane.

While MoH led the way in the last generation, Call of Duty is the current poster-child for next-gen World War II shooting of them up, so it'll be interesting to see how EA's latest does in comparison.

And, naturally, with the game due to "launch itself out of the side of a metaphorical aeroplane have we taken this a bit far yes probably" in late August, we expect we'll get the chance to have a poke around some nearly complete code soon. Watch out for that.
