Microsoft plans to give us a look at Halo Wars during the upcoming July E3 event, as well as reveal more about headline-grabber Gears of War 2.

First-party stalwart Fable 2 will also be there, and hopefully playable, alongside the freshly-unveiled Rare games Viva Piata: Trouble in Paradise and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.

Rounding off the pile will be Too Human, according to IGN.

But what about Alan Wake, Microsoft? And what is Peter Jackson actually making out of Halo?

Let's hope it has some surprises planned for its conference.

The E3 Media & Business Summit takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Centre from 15th to 17th July, and Microsoft's press conference is on the 14th. We will be there doing live coverage as ever.
