EA has announced that FIFA 10 will be released in the UK on 2nd October.

You'll be able to pick it up on DS, PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360, and judging by past years, everybody with electricity will do just that.

FIFA 10 makes several new changes, including the addition of 360-degree control, which alters the feel considerably.

You'll be able to read more about what's new in the game later today in a fresh hands-on - and we'll also have some thoughts on its main competitor, Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, so you can draw comparisons.

Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. For more information, go here.
