Eidos likes Yogi Bear

Licenses Hanna-Barbera toons.

Deadline Games has entered into a new three-year partnership with publisher Eidos, in which it will create 10 titles based on Hanna-Barbera cartoons.

This studio is responsible for classics like Yogi Bear, Tom & Jerry, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, and more.

It coincides with a large hiring-drive by the Danish developer, which was scouting for new talent at the recent Games Convention in Leipzig.

The new titles will apparently be created for as many platforms as possible, although no information on any any of the projects has yet been released. Something like a Yogi Bear thriller would be nice, though, or some way we could get our hands on Betty from The Flintstones.

Deadline Games was responsible for the frenzied action games Total Overdose and sequel Chilli Con Carnage.
