Eidos embraces Steam power

Meaty catalogue available.

Eidos has cuddled up to Valve to offer its biggest and best games on digital distribution system Steam.

Among those puffing from the great chimney of games are Battlestations Midway and Just Cause, as well as the Hitman, Tomb Raider and Commandos series. You'll be able to get this year's new releases too, and should expect to pay US$ 35.95 for a recent title, all the way down to US$ 17.95 for older games.

They're all available on the service now, plus there's also an additional ten percent discount on all Eidos titles until 26th March.

"For over 10 years, Eidos has been a leading publisher on every major gaming platform," said Gabe Newell, co-founder and president of Valve. "Offering legendary action franchises in complete sets and working with Eidos to deliver new releases is a great step forward in our efforts to expand Steam's offerings, and to do so in ways that provide highest value to customers.

Steam is a digital distribution client for PC gamers that lets you buy and download games straight to your PC. But then you knew that. Head over to the Steam website for more information.
