EGTV: PGR4 Cone Sprint

17 secs under Platinum limit.

Yesterday we brought you a clip of me being handsome at a difficult, foggy race in Project Gotham Racing 4 - but some of you weren't impressed!

With this in mind, we went back out onto the track in Las Vegas and did you all a second clip of one of PGR4's signature Cone Sprints - an elaborate network of cone gates strewn around a typical fast-straight, wicked-corner night-time track in the vicinity of the MGM Bellagio.

After a few warm-up attempts, we were able to put together an unbroken Kudos chain from the first gate to the race conclusion - in other words, a string of points-scoring manoeuvres with barely a second to separate any of them.

You will notice a couple of slight brushes with the barriers, if you try, but thanks to PGR4's more forgiving Kudos system these were tolerated without breaking the chain - leaving us to bring it all home 17 seconds under the Platinum medal time limit. Ladies, you know where to find me.

You can read more about PGR4 and why it's so lovely in our PGR4 review. The game's due out here on 12th October.

And, as mentioned yesterday, you will be able to see more videos of PGR4 elsewhere in the Eurogamer empire this week, with Eurogamer.de hosting a London track and Eurogamer.fr taking a bike for spin round Shanghai.
