EA says sorry and refunds Australians

Rectifies exclusion of online in MOHH2.

Electronic Arts has offered every Australian who bought Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 on Wii their money back.

The refund was accompanied by an open apology to the region for not being able to play the game competitively online.

"Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for Wii does not support online functionality in Australia," said EA in a statement. "We made an error in the documentation and marketing materials.

"We are very sorry to have caused confusion for our customers. We will provide a refund to anyone in Australia who wishes to return the game to EA because of the lack of online functionality."

No reason for excluding the service in the first place was given, so we have come up with one involving Toadfish and Libby Kennedy.

For those of you in other areas of the world who picked this up last Friday, you can play in 32-player online deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the flag matches.
