Intel has released two exclusive, free downloadable missions for the PC version of Far Cry 2 via its Game On site.

A further four missions will follow, apparently, plus a seventh bonus mission that is unlocked once you've completed all the others.

The two Intel missions offer some three hours of extra gameplay which, according to Intel, "bristle with extraordinary coolness" and "add depth and twists to Far Cry 2's enthralling plot".

The two missions are called "the Moroccan" and "the American" and involve tracking down informants.

It's not clear if the further missions will be available from Intel, free from another source, or as paid-for content - or if there are any plans to release these missions for the console versions of Far Cry 2.
