The legendary Razer DeathAdder V2 is down to just 30

Successor to one of the most popular mice of all time.

Few mice in the world are as well known as the Razer DeathAdder. Well, maybe Stuart Little, but that's not the type of mice we're discussing here today. Today, we are going to talk about the DeathAdder V2, the successor to the much beloved original and currently going for a fantastic discount.

The Razer DeathAdder V2 is currently priced at £30 on Amazon UK. That's over 57 percent off from its original price of around £70, making it superb value for money.

The DeathAdder V2 builds on the design of the immensely popular original that sold over 10 million units. It has the same basic shape and size as the original but weighs a little less at 82g, making it even more comfortable to operate no matter the grip style.

The DeathAdder V2 makes use of Razer's optical switches. These use an infrared light beam to register a click, making them exceptionally quick and also extremely reliable as the issue of double clicking that often plagues other mice with mechanical switches simply cannot occur with this design.

This mouse also uses an upgraded optical sensor with 20,000 DPI and 650 IPS tracking speed. This allows for improved sensor performance, which in turn increases accuracy and responsiveness.

Razer has also altered the braided cable of the DeathAdder V2, making it more flexible which helps produce minimum drag during movement. Other features included a clicky, tactile scroll wheel, 8 programmable buttons, 100 percent PTFE mouse feet, and on-board memory for 5 user profiles.

All in all, the Razer DeathAdder V2 is a really great option for those looking for a high performance wired gaming mouse. If you want to see our other favourite gaming mice, check out our best gaming mice of 2021 guide. And follow us @dealsfoundry for more amazing deals.

Will you support the Digital Foundry team?

Digital Foundry specialises in technical analysis of gaming hardware and software, using state-of-the-art capture systems and bespoke software to show you how well games and hardware run, visualising precisely what they're capable of. In order to show you what 4K gaming actually looks like we needed to build our own platform to supply high quality 4K video for offline viewing. So we did.

Our videos are multi-gigabyte files and we've chosen a high quality provider to ensure fast downloads. However, that bandwidth isn't free and so we charge a small monthly subscription fee of $5. We think it's a small price to pay for unlimited access to top-tier quality encodes of our content. Thank you.
