Here's the best Black Friday prebuilt gaming desktop we've found

A 893 build with Ryzen 3600X, RTX 2060, 256GB NVMe, 2TB HDD and free games.

We've been asked a lot for prebuilt gaming desktop recommendations for Black Friday, and there are quite a few going. Unfortunately, a lot of the prebuilt options available use older processors or graphics cards, meaning you're leaving a bit of performance on the table compared to someone that was building their PC from scratch using more recent releases. Thankfully, we have found a few great options that are offering completely up-to-date hardware at a good Black Friday discount.

The absolute best Black Friday gaming desktop we've found so far comes from CCL Computers. Their NebulaX gaming desktop boasts a surprisingly strong spec for 893, including the recently released AMD Ryzen 3600X six-core twelve-thread processor and a Nvidia RTX 2060 graphics card. This is backed with 16GB of 3200MHz RAM, a super-fast 256GB NVMe SSD and a slower but very capacious 2TB HDD.

Here's the full breakdown, including manufacturers of each component and their approximate prices online, if you're interested:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X [76 at Box]
  • Graphics card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 6GB [300 at CCL]
  • RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) HyperX Fury DDR4 3200MHz [97 at Amazon]
  • SSD: 256GB Adata XPG SX8200 Pro [41 at CCL]
  • HDD: 2TB Seagate BarraCuda 7200RPM [126 at Amazon]
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 Aorus M [80 at Amazon]
  • Power supply: EVGA 750BQ 750W 80+ Gold [105 at Amazon]
  • Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Q300P Mini Tower [60 at Amazon]
  • Total component cost: 1012

Altogether, it's a solid build that should allow you to play even the latest games at 1080p and ultra settings, and should even work well for upcoming releases like Half-Life Alyx and Cyberpunk 2077. The PC also comes with Xbox Game Pass for PC for three months and either Borderlands 3 or The Outer Worlds, so you'll have plenty of games to play on your new computer!

As the computer uses standard components and comes with a beefy 750W power supply, it's also easy enough to upgrade the processor, RAM, storage or graphics card down the road if you want to move to a higher resolution 1440p or 4K monitor. (Swapping graphics cards, RAM and storage is a simple plug-and-play job, so don't worry if you haven't done it before. A processor upgrade would be a little more involved, but still quite possible for a newcomer following along with a YouTube video from the likes of LTT or JayzTwoCents.)

There's also a three year collect and return warranty, so if you get into trouble you can rely on CCL to sort you out.

However, one thing that isn't included in the build is a copy of Windows 10 - you'll need to pay an extra 100 if you want Windows 10 preinstalled by CCL, or you can source your own copy if you don't mind running through the installation yourself. I love that this is an option, as it makes the PC a lot more affordable for anyone that is just going to move their existing Windows installation into the new PC. It's also possible to find Windows 10 for far cheaper online, and it's even possible to use an old Windows 7 or Windows 8 key on Windows 10 as well - as long as that particular key hasn't been used to upgrade to Windows 10 before. Just pop the Windows 7 or 8 key in during the Windows install or in an Activate Windows prompt afterwards, and you should get a full Windows 10 license from Microsoft's servers - nice one.

We reckon that this is the best gaming desktop going - 893 for a full system including an RTX 2060 and Ryzen 3600X is legit! - but we'd be happy to be wrong.
