Today's Amazon.com PC gaming sale is the best of 2019 so far

Dozens of discounted laptops, components and peripherals.

Amazon.com's daily deal is a great one for American PC gamers, with discounts on everything from gaming laptops and desktops to peripherals and components. Plenty of our top Digital Foundry recommendations are included too, including Razer mice, HyperX headsets, AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors and more. We haven't seen anything like these level of discounts from Amazon this year, especially on so many products from such a wide range of top PC gaming brands. You can see all Amazon PC gaming daily deals here, or read on for our picks of the litter.

Let's start with peripherals. Our pick for the best value gaming headset, the PC and console-friendly HyperX Cloud II, has been discounted from $100 to $70 - in red or silver colourways. If you prefer going sans wires, you'll get an even greater discount on the comfortable Corsair HS70 wireless gaming headset at $60, down from $100.

If you're after a new gaming mouse, there are two popular choices available at nearly 50 per cent off: the $45 Corsair Scimitar Pro RGB, an excellent MMO mouse with 12 side buttons for macros, and the $38 Razer DeathAdder Elite, a refined gaming mosue with a 16,000 DPI optical sensor and a comfortable shape. Another half-price option is the $90 Logitech G910, a solid gaming keyboard with quiet Romer-G mechanical switches and dedicated keys for macros, volume and media control.

There's only one monitor included in the deals, but it's a good one: the Acer Predator XB271HK, our runner-up choice for best 4K gaming monitor. As well as possessing a strong, ergonomic stand and a great looking IPS panel, this 4K monitor also includes G-Sync to smooth out refresh rates below 60Hz. That makes it a strong choice, even in demanding games where you aren't able to hit 4K/60fps consistently. Normally $699, today the monitor is discounted to $519.

If you prefer building PCs to buying them outright, there are some tantalising components on offer too. The highlight has to be the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920X 24-thread processor, which is perfect for mixed gaming and productivity workloads. It's been reduced from $400 to just $270, a 30 per cent discount. Other strong options are the Toshiba X300 6TB HDD, down to $130 from $180, and the Asus Z370-A II, a high-spec Intel 9th gen motherboard ideal for overclocking that's been reduced to just $112 from $174.

Finally, there are some nice prebuilt systems as well, from heavily reduced gaming laptops from Asus and Alienware to desktop systems made by Acer, iBuyPower and CyberpowerPC. Thanks to reductions from 15 to 20 per cent across the board, these are great options if you want an expertly assembled system without paying extra for the privilege.

We could go on to describe every item included in this sale, but we'll leave the rest for you to discover. As usual with Amazon.com's daily deals, these prices will only last until stock runs out or midnight tonight, so get a good deal on a new PC gaming peripheral or system while you can.
