Get a discounted RX 570 for $150 with three free games this weekend

Newegg US discount + AMD game bundle = good deal.

AMD's RX 570 is something of a hidden gem, boasting solid frame-rates at 1080p and the possibility of overclocking to reach RX 580 levels of performance. The card is already a great alternative to the popular GTX 1060 3GB, but a sale this weekend at Newegg makes the RX 570 the standout choice for anyone looking to build a budget gaming rig. Specifically, the American retailer is offering an RX 570 for just $170, with a $20 mail-in rebate to drop that price down to $150. That's a tremendous price, particularly when you consider that AMD is also running a promotion that gives you three free games as well.

The three games in AMD's bundle are good ones too, with the highlight being the critically acclaimed Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, which was released today. The other options are space RPG Star Control: Origins and cooperative third person shooter Strange Brigade, two lesser-known games that have nonetheless attracted good reviews.

The specific model available at $150 is the ASRock Phantom Gaming X, which comes overclocked out of the box to allow for 1080p gaming at 60fps with high or ultra settings in most games. The ASRock card is only on sale until this Sunday, so don't tarry if you're looking to grab a new card at a bargain basement price.

If you're not a fan of the ASRock card, you can also pick up the highly-rated Asus ROG Strix RX 570, which we used to create our full RX 570 review, for $180 - sadly, there's no mail-in rebate here to drop the price further, but you do still get the three free games from AMD. There are other RX 570 cards available with the AMD games bundle too, so feel free to view the entire selection and choose your favourite.

To get a better idea of how the RX 570 will perform in recent games, why not check out our RX 570 benchmarks? You'll be able to see the card stacked up against its closest competitors, including the GTX 1060 and the RX 580. The short version though is that the RX 570 already offered great performance for its price point, so these deals and the inclusion of three games make it an absolute steal.

Note that these deals are only available on Newegg's US site - sorry, non-Americans!
