Boulder Dash for DS, PSP

Rockford's retro return.

Retro arcade action will be heading to DS and PSP this year in the form of Boulder Dash - Rocks!

It's a remake of the 1980s arcade classic that challenges you to collect a number of diamonds before the time limit runs out. Only then will you be able to find the exit to the level.

However, it isn't as easy as it seems. You'll have to avoid falling boulders, roaming enemies and concealed traps by using various types of bombs and special laser guns - each with a unique ability to overcome certain obstacles.

First Star Software will be creating the puzzler, and everything from the original chip-shop arcade adventures is going to be recreated, including the main-star Rockford.

The DS and PSP will each have a tailor-made game mode, as well as the traditional single-player and new mutliplayer options.

10tacle will be bringing Boulder Dash - Rocks! to Europe in the fourth quarter of 2007.
