Amazon Prime Day 2021 Xbox deals: all the highlights

All the top offers on Xbox consoles, games, Game Pass, accessories and more for Prime Day.

This year's Amazon Prime Day is officially over. We hope you managed to grab some Xbox games and accessories at discounted prices.

As the Xbox Series X and S are still in such high demand, we didn't get any impressive deals on consoles this year. There were some slightly discounted Series S bundles with controllers, and the biggest highlight was arguably a Series X drop that managed to stay live on Amazon for a whole 40 minutes! Check out our Xbox Series X stock updates if you missed it and still need to grab one.

Here's a summary of the highlights from this year's Prime Day sale.

If you're interested in comparing current market prices against what was included in this year's Prime Day sale, you can also head over to our PS5 Prime Day and Switch Prime Day pages to see what was included. There's also our comprehensive Amazon Prime Day deals hub page with highlights on all the best gaming, PC, TV, SSD and HDD deals from Prime Day 2021.

Prime Day Xbox Series X / S deals

As we expected, the supply issues around Xbox Series X stock coupled with the growing demand for Series S consoles meant we didn't see any stand-out deals in this year's Prime day sale. You could save some money if you picked up a Series S console with an extra controller (£294.99) but that was pretty much it!

Prime Day Xbox game deals

While there were no discounts on Xbox consoles, there were plenty of deep discounts on Xbox games. Highlights in the UK were Watch Dogs Legion for £21.99, Witcher 3 GOTY edition for £13.50, Marvel's Avengers deluxe edition for £24.99, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon Day Ichi Steel Book edition for £21.99. Balan Wonderworld was cheap at £18.99, as was Immortals Fenyx Rising for £20.49.

Over in the US, you could grab Resident Evil Village for $49.84, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD 1+2 for $41.88, and Assassin's Creed Valhalla for $22.99

It's not just Amazon that's slashing their prices. There are some great games on sale from other retailers too, and we've included the best of the bunch below.

US Deals:

Prime Day Xbox controller deals

Amazon Prime Day knocked a couple of quid off some of the most popular Xbox controller colour variants in the UK: £49.85 for the Robot White controller and £52.12 for the Pulse Red controller. Both of these are still on sale at the time of writing, and you can grab them below.

BUT, Currys PC World currently has the best prices on official Xbox wireless controllers. Just use the code GAMINGFND3 to grab the Robot White controller for £44.99.

Prime Day Xbox Game Pass Ultimate deals

We had our hopes up for some discounted subscription deals in this year's sale but nothing made the cut! If you need to top up, you can grab a 3-month Game Pass Ultimate subscription from the link below.

Need more storage space? We're not surprised, especially with the growing number of games in the Games With Gold and Game Pass library - and there are plenty more to come.

Uninstalling and reinstalling titles is a lot of effort, especially if you're battling against a slow internet connection, and Prime Day sales are always a great time to invest in an SSD or HDD to store your games - if you haven't got one already, that is.

There were some great deals on SSDs and HDDs in this year's Prime Day sale. If you still need to grab one but you're not sure which one's best for your specific needs, we'd recommend checking out Digital Foundry's list of the best SSDs for gaming. They also compared loading times across a variety of drives to see which HDDs and SSDs are the fastest.

The WD Black NVMe 1TB SSD was reduced to £164.99, the WD Black 5TB HDD down to £107.99, and the Seagate 2TB HDD down to £62.99. The Seagate is still the same price, but the WD drives have gone up since then. You can still grab them at their new and slightly discounted prices below.

UK Deals:

There were some decent deals on headsets too, most of which are actually cheaper now that Prime Day is finished! If you need a new gaming headset, check out the list below.

US Deals:

If you're gutted you missed out on any of these deals, we'd recommend giving Jelly Deals a follow on Twitter so it doesn't happen again! It's the easiest way to stay up to date with all of the latest news on gaming discounts and promotions.
