Atari details DS painter

School now optional.

Atari has splashed new details out for its creative title Paint by DS.

You might have clocked on to the idea that it's about painting, and that the challenge is to recreate famous pictures by scribbling your interpretation of them on the touch-screen below.

There's a whole host of tools, frames and canvases to unlock in some distracting mini-games, plus three different difficulty levels to help you paint your way through 15 iconic pieces of artwork.

Atari reckons there's around 40 hours of content to keep you occupied, and you'll be able to save it all in your own gallery so you can show your friends.

Paint by DS is due out on 26th October. Pop over to our freshly created gallery for a look at the first shots.
