Asterix movie tie-in coming to Xbox 360

Should be in shops this summer.

Atari has announced an Xbox 360 version of Asterix at the Olympic Games will be released this summer.

The game is based on the film of the same name, which came out last year, and PC, PS2, Wii and DS versions are already available. The Xbox 360 version will hit the shops around the same time as the movie DVD is released.

Once again you'll be able to play as Asterix and Obelix, switching between them to complete physical challenges and solve puzzles. There's also a mode that lets you choose from 12 playable characters and compete in more than ten sporting events.

The Wii game turned out to be "something fans of the book will enjoy", according to our review, and "better than having a tramp's dog's excrement rubbed in your face by Hitler". Read the full review for more.
