Run Like you'll never get published

Virgin hoping for one last fling

Virgin and Interplay have announced that Run Like Hell for Xbox has gone gold. The expanded version of the game features a new hydroponics level, five additional rooms and several new adversaries, and takes advantage of the Xbox's DD5.1 surround sound and HDTV support. Furthermore, mini-games and skins (for what?) will be available via Xbox Live when the game is released in April.

Assuming it is released in April. We've been hearing about the survival horror title (which received mixed reviews on PS2) for absolutely ages, but the ailing Virgin Interactive may have trouble getting it onto store shelves in the UK and Europe, where retailers can't comment on anything and its release list is a work of fiction.

We'll be watching this one closely for sure, but we won't be holding our breath.
