C&C: Generals goes gold

RTS fans: celebrate!

Source: GameSpot

EA has confirmed that the devs at its Irvine, California based Pacific studio have finished Command & Conquer: Generals, easily the most anticipated title in the series since Red Alert thanks to its glorious good looks, modern day settings and themes - and the promise of a worthy, 'next generation' update.

EA Pacific sent off a final release candidate last week, and the game is now ready for manufacturing ahead of its February 11th launch in the US. In the UK, we get it just a few days later on Friday, February 14th.
