Activision buys more Marvel rights
You'll never guess for how long...
Activision has announced a seriously boring agreement with Marvel (seriously - I'm glad you don't have to read the press release) which will see the publisher entitled to develop games based on Spider-Man, the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Iron Man until 2009. The deal is exclusive for all platforms and operating systems.
And hopefully some of the games will be of a higher quality than the fundamentally detestable X-Men: Next Dimension, which we've been fighting against (rather than with) for the past couple of weeks.
If anyone from Activision's focus groups is listening: do more games like the PSX Spider-Man! Stop farting about with these genre-juggling, five-minute money-spinners, which flagrantly aren't spinning anything anyway!
