Blinx 2 under way

Artoon gets back to business

Artoon is working on two new Xbox titles, if reports from the Far East (The Magic Box, then) are to be believed, and one of them is a sequel to disappointing sci-fi cat and hard drive combo Blinx: The Time Sweeper, which debuted in the UK and Europe last Friday.

Despite critical acclaim from some quarters, the game received quite a dressing down from several British and European publications, including ourselves. A game with a lot of promise? Not really - a system with a lot of promise, and a game that didn't manage to harness it. Hopefully Artoon will learn from their mistakes for the rumoured sequel.

The second game is said to be an action RPG which mixes Dynasty Warriors and Devil May Cry style mass combat.
