Microsoft confirms US Xbox bundle

JSRF, Sega GT 2002 and Controller S for $199

Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox bundle we showed you 11 days ago will appear on US store shelves beginning today. Priced $199.99, the bundle offers gamers an Xbox console, two games (Jet Set Radio Future and Sega GT 2002) and Controller S, which replaces the bulky original pad as the bundled control peripheral.

The European version of the bundle is likely to retail for the current Xbox price of £159.99, and will include the same two free games. Several retailers (including a French e-commerce outfit) have acknowledged the bundle, which they say will not include Controller S. Whether that's true or not remains to be seen - Controller S is due out in Europe on November 1st.

Microsoft in the UK continues to remain mute on the subject.
