Asheron's Call Interview

Its amazing how many people you know who have simply been lost to role playing games. My first experience of knowing people who have lost their lives for months on end to the evil land of the RPG, was when Asheron's Call stole the best players from the UK Tribes community last year, and the top 3 clans in the UK folded in the space of a few months. Activewin grabbed Scott Herrington, the Lead Producer on Asheron's Call for a chat about tree hugging

When asked why he thought his games was better than the likes of EverQuest his answer was quick and simple, "I think we've got a better story and better technology. The ability to add in content every month has got to be a huge plus for us as well."

One of the main things that keeps people playing Asherons Call is that the developers can release new features that integrate themselves into the game every so often, when asked about the games longevity Scott answers, "There are going to be some major, new discoveries in the next 3-4 months that should keep our players very happy with how the world is evolving."
