DDE8 Thermal Monitoring unit reviewed

Wales might not be quite the center of high tech industry that, say, Taiwan is, but it is home to Dragon Direct and their catchily titled "DDE8 Thermal Monitoring unit", or "the Dragon Cooler" as our reviewer has dubbed it.

It's a simple enough idea - instead of putting up with the din of your PC case fans running constantly, you install a DDE8, attach its thermal probes to vital pieces of hardware inside your computer, and then it switches on the fans only when the probes reach a user-defined temperature, leaving you in peace and quiet the rest of the time. Is it worth parting with £30 to get one yourself? Read our review to find out!
