We just got the official press release through from Empire Interactive confirming that they will be publishing The Longest Journey in the UK.

For those of you with an aversion to art students, The Longest Journey is an impressive looking adventure game developed in Scandinavia by Funcom and already released in several European countries. The game now looks like it should finally be reaching Britain in the near future...
