Samus to return at E3

Metroid. Prime. Sequel.

IGN is reporting that the GameCube sequel to the immensely fantastic Metroid Prime will get its first ever exposure at this year’s E3. Inside sources claim that the game will not be playable, instead present only as a short video teaser. So, what… some CGI of Samus looking all hard, and a logo? We’ll see.

It seems Retro Studios has been beavering away at the sequel for several months now, obviously knowing when they’re onto a good thing. The plan had been to release the follow-up later this year, but it has now been suggested that it will be a 2004 release. We’d rather they didn’t rush it.
