More PS5 stock is coming before the end of the year

Sony confirms more stock will be with retailers in December.

Sony has confirmed that more retailers will be receiving PS5 stock before the end of the year.

The suggestion comes as part of a tweet celebrating the size of the recent PS5 launch, but also admits that unprecedented demand has made it difficult to buy. Not to mention all the issues with customers who had their orders swapped for other items or watched them be stolen in front of their eyes.

Nevertheless, Sony has encouraged those still unsuccessful in their hunt for the chonky next-gen console to keep an eye on retailers throughout December.

We've been doing our best to keep on top of all the latest PS5 stock availability across Eurogamer and Jelly Deals over the past few weeks. It has mostly been an exercise in directing you to broken websites, unresponsive web pages and seemingly non-existent stock, but some have found success. And we haven't given up yet.

The good news for folks in the US through all this is that more retailers are expected to have the PS5 in stock over Black Friday. We doubt there will be any PS5 Black Friday deals, but with sales kicking off properly in a matter of hours, you should check the links below for their latest stock updates:

As for the UK and Europe, we've heard nothing definitive right now in terms of when the PS5 might be available to buy again. Here's hoping there will be something before the year is out and not a long wait into 2021.
