Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia is a new Nintendo Switch exclusive from Wayforward

Having a brawl.

Nintendo has announced Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia, a new Switch exclusive from Shantae developer Wayforward.

Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia is an action role-playing game based on the Bakugan anime, and it's due out on 6th November 2020.

Here's the official blurb:

"The game will centre around an all-new original story and the franchise's signature Bakugan brawls as players befriend powerful creatures known as Bakugan and customise teams for fiercely strategic head-to-head battles."

In the game you can create and customise your brawler to fight alongside the Bakugan as their human partner in battle. There's a fully navigable 3D world divided into different districts each with dedicated battle arenas. You can interact with other characters, go on quests, and explore. Expect competitive multiplayer online.

Wayforward has been busy in recent years. It developed well-received beat 'em-up River City Girls, and platformer Shantae and the Seven Sirens, which both released in 2019.
