Star Wars Squadrons leaks on Microsoft Store

UPDATE: Official trailer reveal on Monday.

UPDATE 7.38pm: It might have leaked all over the internet in a rather premature fashion thanks to the Microsoft Store, but now EA is ready to make Star Wars Squadrons official.

According to a new tweet slapped up this evening, Star Wars Squadrons will be getting a proper trailer unveiling in a YouTube livestream on Monday, 15th June. Those eager to catch a glimpse should tune in from 4pm in the UK/8am PT.

ORIGINAL STORY 4.46pm: The Microsoft Store has leaked the name and artwork for Star Wars Squadrons, a new game featuring X-Wings and TIE-Fighters.

The artwork was spotted on the store this afternoon, and quickly popped up on Resetera.

Squadrons is believed to be the Star Wars game code-named Maverick due for release later this year, in development at EA Motive.

Founded by former Ubisoft exec Jade Raymond, Motive opened in 2015 and has to date been providing support on Battlefront 2 and Anthem. Star Wars Squadrons will be Motive's first full game launch.
