Final Fantasy 14 Starter Edition is free to download on PS4

Good job.

The Final Fantasy 14 Starter Edition is free to download from the PlayStation Store right now.

It's free until 26th May, Square Enix said.

Once you've downloaded it, the Final Fantasy 14 Starter Edition is free to keep forever. Usefully, the 11.33GB download includes a 30-day free play period. So, essentially, Final Fantasy 14 is free to play on PS4 for a month.

It's worth noting the Starter Edition of Final Fantasy 14 does not include the game's three big expansions: Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers. But it does let you progress through to level 50.
