An Iron Man VR demo is now available on the PlayStation Store

A good place to Stark.

It might be a little late out of the gate due to coronavirus-related complications, but Marvel's Iron Man VR is finally almost here; and for those itching to take a test flight ahead of its PS4/PSVR release on 3rd July, a demo is now available on the PlayStation Store.

Iron Man VR casts players as playboy billionaire Tony Stark and sets them loose across a virtual reality adventure that pits them against hacker and anti-corporate activist, Ghost. Iconic allies and super villains are promised, and, exactly as you'd hope, there're plenty of airborne acrobatics and shooting action along the way.

The newly released Iron Man VR demo offers a small taste of that, incorporating the "Malibu" tutorial mission, the "Out of the Blue" Stark Jet gameplay mission (and its accompanying interactive cinematic), plus a Flight Challenge optional mission, and an Advanced Combat Challenge optional mission. Additionally, those that download and play the demo will unlock an exclusive Molten Lava Armor Deco in the full game.

In other Iron-Man-VR-related news, Sony has unveiled two region-specific Iron Man VR Bundles, also due to release on 3rd July. Europe's version of the bundle costs £84.99/€99.99 and includes the full game, plus two Move motion controllers.

The US and Canada, meanwhile, gets a heftier version that also packs in a PSVR headset, PlayStation Camera, and a VR demo disc for $349.99 USD/$449.99 CDN.
