Warhammer 40,000 aerial combat tabletop Aeronautica Imperialis has a turn-based strategy game

Take flight, command.

The Warhammer 40,000 video games keep on coming! This one is based on the aerial combat tabletop Aeronautica Imperialis.

Unlike Dakka Squadron, an action-focused Warhammer 40,000 aerial combat game that gives Orks a starring role, Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command is a turn-based strategy game. You play as a Flight Commander in the Imperial Navy or a Skwadron Kommanda of the Ork Air Waaagh!, commanding Thunderbolts, Marauder Bombers, Fightas and Bommas in dog fights.

Expect fully-licensed models from Games Workshop, seven story-driven scenarios playable single-player or head-to-head online, and a training system.

Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command is developed by new UK studio Binary Planets and published by Green Man Gaming, and comes out this May on Steam for PC. The trailer is below.
