You'll find these tasks by spinning PokéStops, alongside the current roster of monthly Research Tasks, which are currently available. Don't be surprised if you need to complete a couple of spins to find what you need!

Pokémon Go in 2020 continues to add new features, such the arrival of the Go Battle League, Remote Raids and the trade evolution feature. There are also planned changes to PokéCoins on the way. Meanwhile, coming soon is the Sinnoh Throwback quest. Last year saw the release of the first Gen 5 Pokémon, and with it new regional exclusive Pokémon and the introduction of the Unova Stone. Pokemon Go also sees regular events - including weekly Spotlight Hour, monthly Field Research rewards and Pokémon Go Community Day.
What else do you need to know about the Tricky Pokémon research rewards?
The Tricky Pokémon event introduces a new Gen 5 Pokémon, Stunfisk, and the good news is it appears as one of the research rewards.
It's also fairly easy, too - tasking you with walking 3 Candy while walking your Buddy. If you're struggling to do this quickly, consider switching out your Buddy for one with a lower km per Candy requirement, such as Magikarp.
Of course, if you are self isolating at the moment, completing this task is impossible - but it will be available in the wild (if you are "extremely lucky") and in more research after the event, so this isn't your only opportunity.
Another research reward, Croagunk, is the latest shiny Pokémon - meaning this research can increase your chances of finding one. As always, shiny Pokémon are rare, so every opportunity helps!
The event will see a wider variety of Pokémon in the wild turn into Ditto for the duration, which is useful for this Croagunk encounter.
