Sentry cameras and sentry turrets in Fortnite explained

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 has seen the construction of multiple spy bases across the Fortnite map. To ensure that these bases are protected the agencies that own them have installed both sentry cameras and sentry turrets.

Throughout these bases you'll be able to find sentry cameras attached to the walls and sentry turrets guarding doors to important rooms.

You can destroy both by using any weapon in the game, but sentry cameras are far easier to destroy than the turrets.

If you're planning on taking out all five sentry cameras and sentry turrets required for the challenge in one go, it's a good idea to put on a disguise by visiting a phonebooth.

This will allow you to plan out a route of surveillance equipment destruction without being attacked by any henchmen.

Fortnite sentry cameras and sentry turrets locations at a glance

You find both sentry cameras and sentry turrets in five different locations.

All of these locations belong to one of the two spy agencies that are currently invading the Fortnite map. It's a good idea to put on a phonebooth disguise as quickly as possible, so that you're not attacked by the henchmen wandering about the base.

You need to destroy either five sentry cameras or sentry turrets, doesn't matter how many of each, to complete this challenge. Below we've listed some of the best locations to find both of these surveillance devices in Fortnite.

Fortnite The Agency sentry cameras and sentry turrets locations explained

The Agency is an ideal place to destroy some sentry cameras, because there's one attached to each main pillar in the lobby.

The lobby of The Agency is a great place to destroy sentry cameras.

If you continue to explore the depths of The Agency, you'll find more sentry cameras watching over certain corridors.

You can either disguise yourself using one of the phonebooths hidden around the outside of The Agency or you can simply run in, guns blazing, and hope for the best.

You can easily find both a sentry camera and a sentry turret close together on The Rig.

Both are located outside of the building in the north-western corner of The Rig and you can easily glide down to destroy them.

Fortnite The Grotto sentry cameras and sentry turrets locations explained

The Grotto is another great place to find and destroy both sentry cameras and sentry turrets.

Like always, you'll want to jump into a phonebooth straight away to make your journey through the base easier to manage.

With disguise donned, you'll be able to explore the tunnels of The Grotto in relative (it's still Fortnite) safety, destroying cameras as you go.
