Gigantamax Toxtricity is the latest Pokémon to join the Gigantamax Pokémon ranks in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
What makes Gigantamax Toxtricity special is that it has two different forms, Amped Form and Low Key Form, and which one you encounter is determined by whether you're playing Pokémon Sword or Shield.
This Pokémon also promises to be a great addition to any team with a deadly G-Max move, which does more than just cause damage.

Dates for Gigantamax Toxtricity in Pokémon Sword and Shield
Gigantamax Toxtricity will be available in Max Raid battles from Thursday 6th February to Sunday 8th March.
If you're playing Pokémon Sword, then you'll be able to fight Amped Form Toxtricity. Meanwhile, in Pokémon Shield, you'll find yourself facing Low Key Form Toxtricity.
How to get Gigantamax Toxtricity in Pokémon Sword and Shield
To battle Gigantamax Toxtricity you need to connect your Nintendo Switch to the Internet during the release window, which should automatically update the spawn table for your Wild Area.
You can also do this by getting the latest Wild Area News through the Mystery Gift function found in the X menu.
Once you've updated your spawn tables, it's time to fight a Gigantamax Toxtricity.
Gigantamax Toxtricity will appear in Pokémon Dens across the Wild Area. You'll know if a Pokémon Den has a visitor, because it will have a beam of red or purple light shining from it.
Thankfully Gigantamax Toxtricity can appear in both red and purple light Pokémon Dens. You also don't need the eighth gym badge to battle this special Pokémon.
If you're having trouble finding Gigantamax Toxtricity, then you can use a Wishing Piece on a Pokémon Den. This will change whatever Pokémon is hiding inside the Den, meaning that you could end up, eventually, with a Gigantamax Toxtricity.
Be careful though - if you don't battle the Pokémon already visiting the Pokémon Den before using the Wishing Piece, you'll lose your chance to battle this Pokémon.
Defeating all the currently available Max Raids will also raise your chances of encountering a Gigantamax Toxtricity. This will cause the Wild Area to refresh and bring you a new selection of Max Raids to complete.
