Hellblade developer Ninja Theory announces Project: Mara

A grounded representation of mental terror.

Hellblade and Enslaved developer Ninja Theory has yet another new game in the works - Project: Mara.

Announced in a brief blog post today, the game is described as an "experimental title that explores new ways of storytelling". It will be a "real-world and grounded representation of mental terror", as opposed to Hellblade's historical fantasy setting.

And that's pretty much all the information we have on the project, one of four now in the works at the Microsoft-owned studio.

Ninja Theory announced Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 late last year for launch on Xbox Series X. It is also working on multiplayer brawler Bleeding Edge and "moonshot" R&D idea The Insight Project, an interactive experiment themed around tackling issues around mental health.
