The Witcher 3, Pillars of Eternity coming to Xbox One Game Pass this week

Plus Life is Strange 2: Episode 5, and more.

Microsoft has rolled out another batch of release dates for titles coming to Xbox One Game Pass, with The Witcher 3, Pillars of Eternity, and more all out ahead of Christmas.

Developer House House's daft avian-themed people-botherer Untitled Goose Game leads the charge, and is already available to download via Game Pass on Xbox One as part of Microsoft's December offerings. That's joined by four more titles, all arriving Thursday, 19th December.

First up is the concluding episode of Dontnod's devastating adventure sequel Life is Strange 2, which arrives alongside Obsidian's acclaimed RPG Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition, and CD Projekt's masterful open-world fantasy The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - ideal accompaniment for Netflix's highly anticipated Witcher novels adaptation, starting on Friday.

Those curious to try Microsoft's games subscription service can currently take advantage of the company's Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offer. Players can get a three-month trial of the Xbox Game Pass/Xbox Live Gold combo for just £1, instead of the usual £10.99 a month.
