Nintendo Switch Lite gets price cut in Black Friday sales

A lighter price tag.

Update: a day later, this is still the best Black Friday Switch Lite deal so far. The only competition is a full-size Switch with a Labo kit for £279.

With Black Friday right around the corner, you're probably scouring the internet for half price goods, but don't turn your nose up at this deal: the Nintendo Switch Lite is available on Amazon for £189.99.

The handheld launched back in September to much applause, with Digital Foundry calling the Switch Lite “an absolute triumph”, and many others claiming similar. Before this week most retailers were flogging the smaller Switch for around £200, so if you were thinking about taking the plunge, now might be the time to do it. You'll pay a little extra if you want the Pokémon version, so we recommend spending your cash on a discounted grey, turquoise or yellow model to get one of the better Nintendo Switch Black Friday deals.

Now, if you're in the market for a bundle, you should consider the Switch Lite and Pokémon bundle. For £219, you can nab a Switch Lite in the colour of your choosing, as well as a copy of either Pokémon Sword or Shield.

If you're looking for the best deal on the console's bigger brother, you can get a Nintendo Switch with free Labo Variety or Vehicle Kit for £279.99 at Amazon UK.

Need some storage for your Switch? Look no further than the great deals Amazon has on a range of SanDisk micro SD cards. From 128GB up to a whopping 512GB, there are plenty of options when it comes to bulking up your Nintendo hardware. Looking for games? How about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition for £34.99?

We're still a couple of days out from Black Friday, so expect more savings over the coming days. Be sure to check out our Switch Black Friday deals hub for the best offers that are out there. On top of that, we've got pages dedicated to the best Xbox Black Friday deals and the best PlayStation Black Friday deals, too.
