Always Sunny's Rob McElhenney reveals game dev TV comedy Mythic Quest

Starring Ashly Burch and more.

During Ubisoft's E3 press conference, Always Sunny in Philadelphia co-creator Rob McElhenney took to the stage to unveil his new game dev TV comedy, Mythic Quest.

Mythic Quest charts the tribulations of the fictitious studio responsible for developing the best-selling MMORPG of the title, in the run-up to the release of its first expansion, Raven's Banquet - with McElhenney and Sunny co-star Charlie Day both writing and executive producing.

McElhenney also stars as the game's egotistical creative director, alongside Ashly Burch (Horizon Zero Dawn, Life is Strange), Community's Danny Pudi, F. Murray Abraham, Imani Hakim, Charlotte Nicdao, Jessie Ennis, and David Hornsby - who Sunny fans will likely recognise as the decidedly put-upon Matthew "Rickety Cricket" Mara.

The Ubisoft link, if you're wondering, is that Mythic Quest is being produced by Ubisoft's Film and Television division, with the show set to air on Apple's TV Plus service launching this year.
