Where to find Fortbyte 88: Found somewhere within map location J3 in Fortnite

Fortbyte 88, introduced on May 31st, is found within map location J3 - which refers to the map quadrant.

This is to the north-east of the map, on the edge of where Wailing Woods used to be, where this is the end of the forest and the edge of the map.

Head to more-or-less the middle of quadrant J3, which is where the tree line ends, and you should see Fortbyte 88 just underneath the canopy.

It's otherwise out in the open, so grab it and it's yours.

What else do you need to know about the segment J3 Fortbyte 88 Fortnite?

Once you have found Fortbyte 88, there are no other requirements such as having a specific emote or having the map be a certain time of day like other Fortbyte locations - just pick it up and continue your match.

If you're struggling to get it - especially when the Fortbyte first goes live, since everyone else is doing the same - we recommend either coming back either on a later date, a later time in the match (you can hover over the location until the initial rush as gone) or by playing a less competitive mode, such as Team Rumble, where there are less enemies to kill you.

All done? There are more Fortnite Challenges and Fortbyte locations to complete.
