Finding the Junk Junction Treasure Map location is the objective of one of Fortnite's many Weekly Challenges.

Completing it will give you additional XP to help go towards your many Season 8 rewards.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. That said, there are still plenty of other Fortnite Challenges as part of the Fortnite Season 9 Battle Pass, with our guides including Wind Turbine locations, Fortnite race track locations for the desert, snowy and grasslands race tracks and holographic Tomato head, Durr Burger head and giant Dumpling head locations. There are also daily Fortnite Fortbyte locations to discover and weekly Utopia Battle Star locations. And, for a limited time only, there's the Downtown Drop LTM with Two Food Trucks locations, Jonesy locations, On Fire Letter locations and Fortnite Hidden Shortcut locations.

Fortnite Junk Junction Treasure Map locations at a glance

For the Week 10 Challenges, you are tasked with the following, which unlock in sequence:

  • Search the Treasure Map signpost found in Junk Junction
  • Follow the Treasure Map signpost found in Junk Junction

Here is where you need to go for the Junk Junction Treasure Map signpost locations, in order of the two stages:

First, you don't have to worry about whether or not this needs to be completed in one match - in fact, you need two, since the second step will activate once the end of the match you find the signpost is completed.

Then, you need to go to the location that appears on the Treasure Map. Unlike Fortnite Treasure Map locations in the past, there's no way of knowing this location before the challenge goes live.

Here are their locations in further detail...

Where to find the Fortnite Junk Junction Treasure Map signpost

First, you need to pay a visit to Junk Junction. Specifically, you want to go to the centre of the named location - the 'N' on the map.

You'll find the sign most in the middle of a pile of junk just north of the main building, behind a crate. As it's a confusing place to explore, the easiest way to find it is find the dog house to the north side of the building...

...then look north. You'll see the crate, and the Junk Junction treasure map location behind it.

Stand next to it and press the button prompt to reveal the next location, and the next stage of the challenge.

Recognize the location on the Treasure Map? If not, no worries - we'll tell you where to go next.

Fortnite Junk Junction Treasure Map signpost end location

The Junk Junction Treasure Map location shows a big knife and fork, which means the giant knife and fork in the ground is where you need to head!

The giant knife and fork are carved into the ground in quadrant F8, just north-west of Fatal Fields, or due south of Salty Springs.

More specifically, you need to head to the right-hand part of the knife - the bottom-right corner of the 'blade' part of it, which is raised up closer to ground level rather than the underground area below.

It's on top of a rock in the corner of that muddy spot.

Head up to it and interact with it to collect the treasure, and complete the Junk Junction Treasure map signpost hunt for the end location. Congrats!

Already done? There are plenty of other Challenges to take on this week, so keep playing!
