EGX Rezzed is this week!

Indie mood.

It's that time again. Time to head down to London's loveliest, steampunk-iest venue and wrap ourselves in the warm cosy atmosphere of EGX Rezzed, the PC and indie gaming show run by EG's parent company Reed POP.

Be honest. When was the last time you were at a games event that had a boat?

Starting this Thursday 4th April and running through Saturday 6th, this years' show hosted in Wapping's Tobacco Dock is shaping up to be something quite special indeed, featuring over 200 playable games, including PlayStation's exciting upcoming Dreams, the long-requested Switch port of Cuphead, Anno 1800, Untitled Goose Game (HONNNNK) and the newly-announced Borderlands Game of the Year edition on Xbox One.

Hey look! It's Ian! And some other guy.

It's not just about what you can play, though - there are myriad other ways to celebrate the world of video games at Rezzed. For one thing, there's a fully packed schedule of live sessions across three stages all weekend, including talks from the minds behind games like Sea of Thieves, Guild Wars 2, Dreams and Anno. There's even a very special session from the Eurogamer team, looking back at the last twenty years of gaming.

Don't forget to pick up one of our super-limited Pride tees at the Rezzed merch stand. All profits go to LGBTQ+ charities.

And even that's not all. The team behind Rezzed is very proud to be hosting one of the most comprehensive resources for people wanting to get their first foot on the games industry ladder. Our sister site GamesIndustry.biz is hosting a Careers Fair, with industry leaders such as Creative Assembly, Escape Studios, UCA and Teeside University standing by to offer suggestions, whatever field you're most interested in. There are also portfolio reviews, where you can speak to professionals in your preferred discipline and get advice based on your personal portfolios. And finally, expect some illuminating talks from industry legends, like Brenda and John Romero.

John Romero's about to make you his games industry success story.

At time of posting, tickets are still available for all three days of the show, and Super Pass tickets which allow access all weekend can also be picked up - though we understand that they're running very low, so be sure not to miss out.

See you at the show!
