Finding the giant face locations is the objective of one of Fortnite's many Weekly Challenges.
Completing it will give you additional XP to help go towards your many Season 8 rewards.

Fortnite giant face locations at a glance
For the Week 1 Challenges, you are tasked with the following, which unlock in sequence:
- Visit a giant face in the desert, the jungle, and the snow
Here are the giant face in the desert, the jungle, and the snow locations at a glance:
First, you don't have to worry about whether or not this needs to be completed in one match - take as many as you need (we assume you can do all three if you can get to all three corners of the map in time, though!)
Second, all you need to do is get close to them - no other actions, such as dancing - needed.
Here are their locations in further detail...
Fortnite giant face in the jungle location
You'll find the jungle giant face location just easy of Season 8's newly added named location, Sunny Steps.
The face itself is facing south-west, and provided you get close, it should be ticked off your challenges progress.
Fortnite giant face in the snow location
The snow giant face location can be found east of Happy Hamlet, where you'll find some ice-blue cliffs.
The giant face itself is looking east. Stand anywhere close to it - by the 'teeth' for example - for the location to be counted.
The latest Fortnite Week 8 Challenges include Fortnite Jigsaw Puzzle locations, the Paradise Palm Treasure Map location, and how to Dial the Durr Burger and Pizza Pit number on big telephones. There are also pirate camp locations and Fortnite Discovery Battle Star locations to find, too, the latter of which will help you unlock the Ruin skin. Also coming very soon is the Fortnite Avengers crossover. Not long to wait now!
Fortnite giant face in the desert location
The desert giant face location can be found on a mountain alongside the coast, specifically south of the river and the road.
The giant face itself is facing north. Since it's high up on the cliff face, then landing on the face itself, or the ledge just above, is probably the wisest thing to do.
If you are struggling to spot it, then if you played the last season of Fortnite at all, it's where you found the crown of RVs.
Once you have all three giant face locations, then this three-part challenge is complete. Nicely done!
